March Madness

Hello Everyone,

March is "blowing" through and I have some weddings to perform this month.

I have not performed a wedding yet at either the Contemporary Arts Center or at the Museum Center. The CAC is a new ultra modern building that is really cool to visit. They have stairs that are not quite right - kind of "off kilter" but interesting and lots of glass on the first floor.

The Museum Center is in the Old Union Terminal which was the large train station in Cincinnati. It was built in the depression times and was an active station until the 1970's. When I was a kid (about 6 million years ago) my Mom took my sisters and I on a trip on the train to Washington DC. We got to ride in a sleeper car which was really cool thing for us kids to do. We left from the Union Terminal. Now the terminal is the Museum Center with the Museum of Natural History and the Cincinnati Historical Society - both housed in the massive building. There are mosaics on the dome of the terminal that depicts life in Cincinnati through the years. Some of the mosaics were moved to the Greater Cincinnati International Airport in the three main terminals.

So, I am excited about the two new venues. I have included some links to these sites and of course the pictures at the top.
