Pollan Farm - A Day of Surprises!!

Hello All,
Saturday I had the privilege of marrying Jeremy and Heidi at the Pollan Farm in Dayton, Ohio.
This was the day that they had waited for so long but there several road blocks on the day of the wedding.
One of the groomsman ran out of gas on the way to the ceremony, the DJ decided that he was not going to play music at the site of the wedding but rather across the yard in the barn that the reception was going to be held, and to top off the whole event one of the bride’s maid dresses still had the security tag from the dress salon attached under the arm.
The bride and groom remained calm and with in a matter of a few minutes the groomsman arrived, the DJ moved the equipment back to the wedding site - but the poor bride’s maid still had the security tag on it but she was able to hide it under her pashmina.
The couple also had a butterfly release at the end of the ceremony. They each held a birdcage type set up and all of the bridal party and the mother of the bride and groom also released butterflies. It was the first time I was involved in this type event so I looked up the meaning of it and according to one site and it is said that if you whisper a wish to a butterfly - because it can not make a sound that it will carry to wish to heaven and God will grant the wish. That is really a pretty cool thought. I know Jeremy and Heidi had many wishes flying off to the heavens on Saturday.
Good luck and God bless……Rev. BB
