Wedding at Old St. Paul's

Hello All,

Wow! This has been a very busy couple of weeks in the world of weddings in greater Cincinnati.
Last weekend I performed a really nice ceremony at the Verdin Bell - Old St. Paul’s Church in the Over the Rhine area. This is a church that was built in the early part of the 19th century that has soaring hand fresco ceiling paintings of the Saints and a beautiful pipe organ as well as polished terrazzo floors with inlaid tile in various designs. This church was decommissioned in the mid 1970’s and it became the home of the Verdin Bell Company.

More recently a great fellow, Paul Goebles, has transformed the church into one of the most spectacular spots in Cincinnati to hold a wedding. His staff is very detailed oriented in everything from lighting all of the candles to providing bottled water in the brides room. You can take a look at St. Paul’s at he following link

The couple, Eric and Amy, were stunning in their wedding regalia and their parents and friends were all seated in the white covered chairs as the bride’s music began. The aisle at St. Paul’s is very long and Amy on the arm of her step-dad came into the sanctuary where she met her groom. Their eyes were fixed on one another through the entire ceremony and after the magic words were said to pronounce them husband and wife they headed back down the aisle to their awaiting guests. What a great couple!

Good luck and God Bless…… Rev. BB
