Wedding at Six Acres Bed and Breakfast

Wow! What a great wedding today at the Six Acres Bed and Breakfast.
First let me tell you about this incredible Bed and Breakfast where I had the pleasure of performing the wedding of Shauna and Michael. The Inn was built in about 1850 and was part of the Underground Railroad system in Cincinnati.

Talking to the Inn Keeper today I found out that the house was condemned several years ago and they have restored it to its glorious state it is in today. All of the rooms are cheerful colors and the furnishings are lovely antiques and the room that the ceremony was held is a living room area where the Inn Keeper placed chairs covered in off white linen. Forty people attended the wedding and everyone fit into the room with ease.

There was no detail left out. The house was spotless, the furniture beautiful, and the banquet table was set to perfection with classic stemware and bone china. It looked wonderful.

The bride wore white of course with a toole train that was at least ten feet behind her. The groom wore a black tux with a longer coat black tie and vest. Shauna and Michael came to me several weeks ago to see if I was available to perform their ceremony. At out first meeting the two of them sat close together and stoked each others hands as we met. I could see that this was a good match.

During the ceremony the brides maids were in tears - as was the Bride and the groom. I LOVE A WEDDING WHEN EVERY ONE GETS "MISTY".

If you are planning a wedding for 2007 I can highly recommend the Six Acres Bed and Breakfast for your event and of course call me to perform the ceremony. You can email the Inn Keepers at info@sixacresbb.com for information about their fabulous Inn!

Wedding Woes

Hello Again,

I was watching a TV program the other day and they had a segment about "Wedding Woes" and "Bridezilla" brides and how life before the wedding can be unbearable for everyone who comes in contact with the bride. To that I say "poo-poo" - every bride has the right to panic and stress and get all crazy before her wedding. The problem comes in when she forgets to take a breath of air and try to relax a little.

For about ten days prior to the big date take a minute to your self away from everyone close your eyes and breath deeply trying to visualize a calm place that you would really love to be, at that moment. Keeping your eyes closed relax the muscles in your legs, relax the muscles in your torso and then finally relax the muscles in your arms and neck. Stay like this for a few minutes and you will feel much better - ready to tackle all of those last minute details of your special day.

Another "tid bit" of advice would be to remember to laugh! Tell a joke or watch a funny film. Laughing will definitely relieve the stress and give you a minute feel good.

And last but not least remember to have a good time at your wedding. Don't worry about the details - leave that job to you mother!

HAVE A GREAT WEDDING.............................................Rev BB

Happy New Year

Hello Everyone,

Happy New Year!!!!!! 2007 will be a great year. I hope everyone got a kiss at midnight and an "I love you" from your fiance'.

I performed another "living room" wedding on Friday in front of the Christmas tree. The couple really wanted to be married in 2006 and simply could not wait to do an elaborate wedding later. You could see in their faces that this was the best thing for them and they both got teary eyed as the "I Do's" were said.

So if you want a huge elaborate wedding with all of the bells and whistles or a very intimate ceremony in the location of your choice, I can help.

Good luck and God bless.........Rev. BB
