July 4th Wedding for Brandon & Desiree With Fire Works
I have two weddings to report on this week.
First, Brandon and Desiree were married on July the 4th with fire crackers to not only celebrate their wedding but also Independence Day.
It was rather hot, late in the afternoon with a gentle breeze blowing in from the fields of their Aunts homes in Morrow Ohio. The yard was decorated with a very nice wedding arch that was decorated with red roses intertwined with white toole and vines. The Bride wore a long gown that resembled satin frosting on a wedding cake. When the light was captured on the surface it sparkled of silver beading and lace. The groom was also dressed in a white tuxedo with a small blue pinstripe to the fabric. Both of them looked spectacular!
The Bride walked down the aisle on the arm of her Step-Dad as
she carried a single red long stem rose in her hand. She greeted her Groom and they both stepped in front of me for the ceremony. Having said the “magic words” they kissed and the fire works popped and then headed down the aisle with their friends and families clapping with joy.
Peter and Amanda
The second wedding was today at a really pretty cool location in Liberty Township. It was at a place called Lake Lyndsey’s - Kayla Korner. It sounds like a mouthful to pronounce but it was a beautiful lake front setting with a cedar gazebo on the water and several tiers of balconies for the guests to be seated. Everything is newly made and is in pristine condition and clean as a whistle.
This couple had chosen one of the best wedding planners in south western Ohio, Your Dream Day - Kathy Piech-Lucas to pull the whole event together. As usual the flowers were spectacular, the unity candle was superb and the guests were made to feel like royalty.
I really enjoyed meeting this couple on the evening of the rehearsal. This affair was planned from out of town and we communicated through email over the last several months. You could see that they were meant to be together. Their son, Dominic, was dressed in a miniature tuxedo and came down the aisle in his Grandpa’s arm as the Bride as on his other arm.
Both were dressed to the nine’s in their full wedding regalia as they exchanged vows/rings and became Husband and Wife. The day was perfect from start to finish for Peter and Amanda.
Good luck and God Bless to both couples……. Rev. BB
